Great for:FriendsCasual Dining
The display counter at the front is doing most of the work here — cheesecakes, éclairs, a red velvet under glass that half the room orders. Behind it the café is pleasant enough: bentwood chairs, marble-look tables, a laptop at every second one. Where it thins out is the kitchen. The bakery is clearly the business; the savoury menu reads like something added later, and our order came out lukewarm without an apology.

Peri Peri Chicken Pizza
2.9Ordering a pizza at a bakehouse is a gamble, and this one lands somewhere in the middle. The base is the good part — thin, blistered, clearly proved properly, because a bakery is never going to get dough wrong. Everything above it is careless: chicken cubes with no marinade colour on them, cheese laid on in a single flat sheet, and 'peri peri' that turns out to mean a dusting of red powder added after the bake. It came out on a wooden board with nothing else on it, and it ate about as plainly as it looked.

No
No, not for a meal. I'd stop in for a coffee and a slice of cake, but the savoury menu isn't worth the table.
