Great for:Fine Dining
Chianti is a converted bungalow, and it hasn't tried to hide it — you eat in what used to be somebody's living room, with a verandah section that fills first for a reason. The best thing here is the floor staff. Our server talked us out of a second starter because he thought the portions would be too much, which cost the restaurant money and bought it a return visit. Wine is poured properly. Bread is refilled without asking.
Burrata Cremosa
3.5It arrives looking like the cover of a cookbook — a whole burrata on a slate, heirloom tomatoes cut at different thicknesses, basil oil pooled around the edge. Cut in and the centre is properly loose and cold against the room-temperature tomato, which is the whole point of the dish. Where it stops short is seasoning: no flaky salt, no pepper, and an olive oil too mild to carry it. A pinch of salt at the table fixed most of it, and I shouldn't have to be the one adding it at ₹850.
